Veretta Ann Campbell

Veretta Ann Campbell, 70, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 in the comfort of her home. Ms. Campbell was born in Mamou, LA and has lived most of her life in Lake Charles. She was a graduate of Westlake High School and Cosmetology School. She enjoyed gardening and loved to fish. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Ms. Campbell will be most remembered for love of family. She leaves to cherish her memory, five children, Angela O'Quinn and husband Roy of Sulphur, Shontelle Fontenot and husband Ron of Sulphur, Cynthia Primeaux and husband Richard of Bell City, Kimberly Manning of Sulphur and Charles Manning of Baytown, TX; twenty grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Keith Campbell of Turkey Creek and two sisters, Gale Cradeur of Lake Charles and Cassie Menier of Pine Prairie. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Shane Manning; parents, Bertrand Campbell and Lester Mary Deshotel Campbell; brother, Leon David Campbell and a beloved niece, Donna Kay Cradeur. With respect of Ms. Campbell's wishes, Graveside services will be a private family gathering at Campbell Cemetery in Pine Prairie, LA.
