Lake Charles – Veronica Lynn Stewart, 46, passed away in a local hospital on July 6, 2016.
Veronica was born in Lake Charles on April 29, 1970 to John Fontenot, Sr. and Alice Stewart Fontenot.
Survivors include her husband, Michael R. Stewart, of Lake Charles; son, Michael J. Stewart, (Charln) of Houston, TX; daughter, Carrie Stewart Pickett (James) of Frisco, TX , brothers, John "Bubba" Fontenot (JoAnn) of Sulphur, Billy Jack Fontenot of Gillis; sisters, Jackie Ducat (Randy), Penny Gail Parker both of LeBleu Settlement; 2 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her mother Alice Fontenot and brother in law Ricky Lee Parker and her loving poodle Candie.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral with Charles Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery in Lake Charles. Visitation begins Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m in the funeral home.
