Vicki Vincent Stulb

Vicki Vincent Stulb, 62, of Lake Charles died at 2:42 PM on Saturday, November 19, 2016 in her residence.

 

Vicki was born on April 14, 1954 in San Francisco, CA and lived most of her life in Lake Charles where she was a graduate of St. Louis High School.  She furthered her education at Hollins College in Roanoke, VA receiving her undergraduate degree.  Vicki then earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work at LSU and continued her schooling at the University of New Mexico where she earned a Master’s Degree in Psychological Counseling.  She utilized her degrees as a practicing licensed Gestault Therapist at several locations in Southern Louisiana.

 

She was an active member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Lake Charles and also belonged to the Junior League of Lake Charles.  To her family and friends she was known as the President of the “Fairy and Unicorn Society”.  Vicki was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and was proud to be the first of three generations to attend the Episcopal Day School.

 

Vicki was a gifted artist and painter and was an avid reader.  Her favorite hobby was being a doting grandmother and was affectionately called “Mimzy” by her grandbabies.

 

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Grace Stulb (Chase Breaux) of Lake Charles; a son, Michael Stulb (Allyson) of Lake Charles and Erik Stulb (Sierra) of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister, Kathy Vincent Hanudel (Mark) of Lake Charles; a brother, Burt Vincent (Angie) of Lake Charles; former husband, Jimmy Stulb of Hackberry; four grandchildren, Emma Breaux and Adelyn, Jude, and Scarlett Stulb; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Wayne Vincent.

 

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.  The Rev. Jack Meyers and Rev. Frances “Boo” Kay will officiate.  Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.  Visitation will be held in the Hardtner Hall at the church beginning at 9:00 AM and continuing until the start of the service.  Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home
