Victoria Steward Vaughan

Victoria Faith Steward Vaughan, 57, of DeQuincy, LA, died at 1:48 AM on Friday, December 9, 2016 in her residence.

Mrs. Vaughan was born July 13, 1959 in Houston, TX and lived in the Sulphur area for over forty years. She worked as a cook for a number of years at the Hickory Smoke House. She was raised in the Catholic faith. Mrs. Vaughan loved to go crabbing and fishing. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning food.

Mrs. Vaughan is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Glen Vaughan, Jr.; sons, Glen Morris Vaughan and Keiffer Vaughan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Eldera Steward; and brothers, Alton, Roger, Jerry and Ray Steward.

Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM noon on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mark Schulz will officiate. Cremation will follow services. Visitation will begin on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the start of the service.
