Vincent Wade Tarver

Vincent Wade Tarver, 67, passed away on November 25, 2017 in a local hospital.

He was born on July 24, 1950 in Natchez, Mississippi to Vince Edward and Eula Talkington Tarver. He graduated from Lagrange Senior High School and lived most of his adult life in Lake Charles, LA. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for Northrop Grumman before retiring.

Mr. Tarver is survived by his wife, Marcella Tarver; three sons, Christopher John Lancaster, Kenneth Daniel Tarver (Corrine Webre Tarver), John Isaac Tarver (Amanda Nicole Tarver); grandchildren, Gabrielle Danté Tarver and Sebastian Cole Tarver; brothers, Gordon Bruce Tarver, Donald Bryan Tarver (Julia), and Phillip Tarver (Dewanna); great-grandchildren, Oakley Guidry and Wyatt Guidry; sisters, Catherine Elizabeth Long, Laura Grace Duhon, and Sheila Joy Davis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Kieth Tarver; granddaughter, Kristen Denise Lancaster and a brother, Timothy Edward Tarver.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will take place at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday November 27, 2017 from

5 PM until 8 PM.
