Virginia Clark

Virginia Clark, 86, of Lake Charles, Louisiana died at 9:20 AM Sunday, October 25, 2015 in a local care facility. Mrs. Clark was a life-long resident of the Lake Charles area. She was born on November 26, 1928 to the parents of Josephine and Charles Critti. Mrs. Clark was a 1946 graduate of Iowa High School. She worked as an Assistant Manager for the Better Business Bureau from 1965- 1975. She was a devoted Catholic and attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where she served as a Catholic Daughter. She is survived by two stepsons Jimmy M. Clark of Shedd, Oregon and Lawrence R. Clark of Simonton, Texas, two step grandchildren, Amy Wald and Brian Clark. Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Elbert Clark. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Deacon Harold Nixon will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary to be held at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday at 8:00 AM until the time of services.
