Virginia King "Gingin" Ayres

Virginia L. “GinGin” Ayres, 79, of Louisville, KY passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in a Louisville, KY facility.

Known to her family and friends as “GinGin” she was a generous

and caring woman who was loved by all.

Virginia was married to John Sanford Ayres and Henry A. Wick.

She was preceded in death by her son, Keith King Ayres.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter,

Tobe Leonard: five grandchildren, Keeley A. Isgitt (Malcolm), Brandon

Ayres, Leah Leonard, Tierney Ayres, and Justin Leonard; and three great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ronnie Estes will officiate. A private burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the American Heart Association and the Diabetes Foundation.
