Lake Charles– Viva S. Hodges, born on August 30, 1970, daughter of the late D. W. Brown and Peggy Pierce Brown, passed away in a local care facility on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the age of 52.
Viva enjoyed arts, crafts, and getting her nails done. Viva was very loved, fun to be around, and will be missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Preston Stoutes; great niece, Taylor Oliver.
Viva is survived by her son; Joe Hodges, IV; siblings; DeWayne Brown (Sue), Richard Brown (Lisa); Wade Brown, (Reeca); Lloyd Brown; Karen Stoutes, (Tim); Thomas Brown (Cathy); fiancé, Todd Chandler.
Cremation was entrusted to Johnson and Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
As per her request there will be no formal services.
