Wanda Flo Devall

Wanda Flo DeVall, 62, of Lake Charles, died August 29, 2016 at a local hospital following an extended illness.

Wanda was a native of Big Lake and longtime resident of Lake Charles. She retired from Firestone and was a member of Big Lake Gospel Tabernacle. Her passions in life were fishing, bar-b-qing and her nieces and nephews. The Love that left with her will leave a hole in the hearts of many.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Ernest and Florence Lea Fontenot DeVall; brothers, Ernie Devall and Kenneth Kelly DeVall. She is survived by her brother, Gregory DeVall, Sr. and wife Pam; sister, Gwendolyn Kirby and husband Stan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Thursday September 1, 2016 at Big Lake Gospel Tabernacle. A Celebration of her life will follow visitation at 10:00 AM at the church with the Revs. Garry Mann and Stan Kirby officiating. Private interment service will follow at Pujol Cemetery at a later date.
