Wanda White

Wanda Faye LaBove White, 75, of Hackberry, LA passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020.  Faye was born on September 1, 1944.  She was a lifelong resident of Hackberry, and attended Hackberry Pentecostal Church.

She enjoyed singing, doing puzzles, and playing games.  Her greatest joy was time spent with her family.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Alpha and FloraBel LaBove, son, Steven White, granddaughter, Samantha Pitre-David, brother, George LaBove, and husbands, Shelton Pitre and Wilfred White.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Gayle Sanner and husband Rev. Jimmy Sanner, Brian Pitre, and Jennifer Miller and husband Gerald Miller, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, sister, Jean Fontenot and husband Ernest, and brother, Ricky LaBove and wife Susie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Hackberry Community Center, 986 Main Street, Hackberry, LA. . Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Hackberry Community Center and will resume at 10:00 AM on Wednesday until time of service. Rev. Jimmy Sanner will officiate services.  Burial will follow at new Hackberry Cemetery.
