Warren Duplechin

Warren Lee Duplechin, 66 passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020. He was born on May 26, 1954 in Scott, La. to Wilfred and Agnes Duplechin.

Mr. Duplechin went to Sam Houston High in Moss Bluff and then enlisted in the United States Navy where he was on the USS Roosevelt in the Mediterranean Crisis. His first great hobby was music, singing and playing the guitar.  He was one of the top vocalists in Lake Charles and with various bands.  He retired from music with the band Uncle Remus.  He loved hunting and fishing. He also retired from Entergy of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Patrick Duplechin. Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Donna Reynolds and husband Stephen and Beverly Angelo and husband Patrick; granddaughter, Karleigh Reynolds; grandsons, Kaden and Konner Reynolds; great-grandson, Braxton Guidry; brothers, Harrol Duplechin and wife Lavon and James “Bubba” Duplechin; sister Patricia Ladorde and husband Ricky; and many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 11:00am in Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with Msgr. Dubois and Rev. David Trimbur officiating.  Burial will follow in Creel Cemetery at Camp Pearl.  Visitation will be on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the funeral home from 4:00pm - 8:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm and continue Saturday at 9:00am until service time at 11:00am.
