Wayne Harry Leblanc

Wayne Harry LeBlanc, born June 27, 1963, son of Max and Laura Mae (Vincent) LeBlanc, passed away after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 58.
A graduate of Sulphur High School and Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, Wayne worked for many years as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his beloved dog.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Mae (Vincent) LeBlanc.
Survivors are his father, Max LeBlanc (Dorothy); sons, Caleb and Lucas; siblings, Keith LeBlanc (Kathy); Laura “Liz” Prejean (Randy), and Amelia “Amy” LeBlanc; grandchild, Aiden; and his companion, Kalen Donnelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. John the Evangelist in Lacassine on Friday, December 24, 2021 at 12 p.m. with Canon Moreau officiating. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin Thursday, December 23, 2021 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. and will resume Friday in the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
