Willa Dean LeBoeuf, 90, passed away on September 4, 2026.
Willa Dean was a wonderful cook who loved to joke around and visit with others. She was never one to keep her feelings to herself, and you never had to wonder what was on her mind. She grew up in Hackberry, Louisiana, where she made many memories that stayed with her throughout her life.
While working at a clinic in Cameron, Willa Dean met a man who walked in for a visit. Four months later, they were married. Willa Dean and George LeBoeuf shared 64 years of marriage before his passing in 2019.
Willa Dean enjoyed opening her home to friends and family. She especially loved having friends over, serving coffee, and spending time talking and visiting. She also took great care of her cat, Callie. But more than anything, Willa Dean loved her grandchildren. Visiting with them was one of her favorite things to do, and her grandchildren meant everything to her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Cindy Jones (Eugene) and Ricky LeBoeuf (Kim); her grandchildren, Chelsi McKoin (Keith), Kelli Johnston (Tomas), Patrick Jones, Quade LeBoeuf (Kelsey), and Maia LeBoeuf; and her great-grandchildren, Eleanor Johnston, Henry Johnston, Collin McKoin, Drew McKoin, Evie Jones, Wyatt Jones, Kai LeBoeuf, Elliott LeBoeuf, and Bennett LeBoeuf.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, George LeBoeuf; her three siblings; her parents; and her grandchild, Emmett Jones.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Lake Charles Care Center, also to her caregivers, Maddie Danahay, Milissa Boudreaux, Sharon Furs.
A funeral service for Willa Dean will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Visitation will begin at 9:15 a.m. and a Rosary will begin at 9:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Creole, Louisiana.
