May 3, 1929 – December 14, 2016

Heaven gained another angel, from my family this year. Though a lot of people did not agree with this man at times, he was always able to pull you back in with one of his stories from his life or one of his silly words you never heard of. He was a great man and a superb grandpa. We had such a great relationship, always there to lend an ear or give me a perspective on things. He loved to cut his grass. I was fortunate to be there when he started his decline, and promised him and myself, I would be there to the end, no matter what. He never said it with his words, but I know he was grateful. If I was not there, because I was sleeping or working, he knew I would be back. Forever may you rest in peace, grandpa, for some day we shall meet again.

A memorial gathering for William Earl Sexton, Jr. will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 4 P.M. at Holbrook Park (Ward6).
