William Frank Arceneaux, Sr.

William Frank Arceneaux Sr., 87, of Sulphur, LA passed away on April 17, 2021 in a local care facility.

William was born on December 4, 1933 to Phillip and Mildred Arceneaux in Sulphur, LA.

William enjoyed the great outdoors duck hunting and deer hunting spending quality time with family and friends. He also enjoyed camping, serving in the Maplewood Lion’s Club, and helping anyone in need after many local disasters. He helped anyone that needed help and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include two children, William Arceneaux Jr. and wife Belinda of Sulphur, LA and Janet Arceneaux of Rochester, MN; four grandchildren, Jason Peoples and Erica, Brad Arceneaux and Terri, Jennifer Houk and Matt, and Brandie Arnold and David; 10 great grandchildren, Alexis Arnold, Aria Peoples, Sadie Arceneaux, Ace Arceneaux, Aiden Peoples, Elizabeth Arnold, Bryce Arceneaux’, Jayden Houk, Cole Houk, and Jorie Houk; two siblings, Phillip Arceneaux of Sulphur, LA and Kent Arceneaux of Houston, TX.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Arceneaux, and one sister, Carolyn Sharpe.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines Cemetery. Pastor Sheri Zehner will officiate services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Maplewood Hollywood Lyons Club.
