William Sanford Bogle

It is with broken hearts that we must announce the passing of our beloved and precious son, brother and great friend to many. William Sanford Bogle, 21, passed on May 26, 2021, in the midst of doing what he loved most in life. He had just finished hunting in Kansas and was on to Colorado for his next hunt. William, known to his family as Sweet William, Dubs and to most friends as just Bogle, will leave a huge void in the lives of those who knew him.

William is survived by his father, Bryan Bogle (Cyndy) of Loveland, CO; his mother, Jody Jeghers Weeks (Eddie) of Baton Rouge; brother, Chris Bogle of CO; sister, Rachel Bogle (fiancé, Mason Daull) of CO, as well as step siblings, (Anna Weeks, Lauren Weeks, David Weeks, Connor Dingae and Chloie Dingae).   He also leaves his grandparents, Tommy and Judy Bogle; aunt, Stephanie Bogle Burkhalter (Daniel); cousins, Quinn (fiancé, Kirstin Wheat) and Zachary Burkhalter, all of Lake Charles; great aunts, Janey Pate of Lake Charles, Anita Bogle of Keithville, LA and Janice Hill of Memphis, TN; grandmother, Beverly Tommasi of Lake Charles; uncles, Keith Jeghers of Lake Charles and Scott Jeghers (Roxie) of FL; aunt, Susan Spears (John) and cousins, Sarah McKay, Erin Johnson and David Spears (Gabby), all of Lake Charles.

William’s family and friends gathered to share memories and say goodbye on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in his hometown of Baton Rouge, LA.  Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Tim Chalas at Grace Life Fellowship at 2:00 PM under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home.
