William Paul Vincent, Sr., born in Lake Charles on December 18, 1954, son of Louis and Leola Marie (Billedeaux) Vincent, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the age of sixty-nine.
William, a graduate of Lake Charles High School, retired from the Calcasieu Parish Policy Jury. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and most of all, visiting with family and friends. He could fix anything and was always willing to help anyone in need. His generous spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Survivors are his mother, Leola Vincent; sons, William “Billy” Vincent, Jr. and wife, Tammy, and David James Vincent and wife, Heidy; siblings, Barbara Vincent Daigle, Russell Wayne Vincent and wife, Robin, and Monica Vincent Hebert; grandchildren, William Bailey and Nikki Duhon; great-grandchildren, Reese Bailey, Avery Duhon, Kaidian Hebert, James Duhon, and Levi Sullivan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Terry Ardizzone officiating. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Monday in the funeral home from 10 a.m. A rosary will be recited on Monday at 12:45 p.m.
