Winston William Buller, Jr passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the age of 92.
Winston was born on February 28, 1933, in Kinder, Louisiana to Winston Buller, Sr and Agnes Lormand Buller. He grew up in Indian Village and attended Kinder High School. He proudly served in the Army from 1953 to 1955.
On October 7, 1956, he married the love of his life Carolyn Talbot. Together they built a life rooted in faith and family.
Winston worked as a Heavy Equipment operator. He retired from Olin in 1995.
He and his wife lived in Iowa for 50 years. Iowa is where they raised their 4 children. In 2026 they moved to Lake Charles.Winston enjoyed dancing, playing horseshoes, golf, bowling, and traveling. He also was a KC member and past Grand Knight for Council 3006.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Becky Becnel (Fred), Brad Buller (Pam), and Stephen Buller (Susan); 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren,1 great-great grandchild and 1 on the way; brother-in-law, Jerry Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Winston and Agness Buller; his wife, Carolyn Buller; his daughter, Debbie Roy and her husband, Mark Roy; and his sister, Anna Mae Buller Morgan.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to his wonderful neighbors and to the staff at Brighton Bridge Hospice, Jessica, Rebecca, Melissa, Pat and Juanita you were wonderful.
A gathering of friends and family will begin on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 4:30 pm, with a rosary recited at 6 pm in Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home at 6:30 pm, with Rev Roland Vaughn officiating.
