Hayes – Wyatt Leon Myers, born in Lake Charles on September 10, 2002, passed away January 11, 2024, at the age of twenty-one.
Wyatt was a graduate of Bell City High School and worked as an equipment operator for Prairie Contractors.
Wyatt enjoyed hunting, spending afternoons with his family and dog Roxy.
He embraced life, always devoting himself to his loved ones. Every hug, kiss and constant I love you will forever be branded into the hearts of those he loved.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Faye (Patton) Hoffpauir, grandparents, Bruce and Yvonne Myers.
Wyatt is survived by his parents, Paige and Tony Myers; siblings, Linzy Hoffpauir and fiancé, James Begnaud, Bryce Myers and wife, Alyssa, Tayler Myers, and Conner Myers; grandfather, Ray Allen Hoffpauir; aunts and uncles, Heather Hebert and husband, Spencer, Shannon Hoffpauir and wife, Kristi, Robert Chaisson, P. J. Myers, Jeff Myers and wife, Tammy, and Brian Myers and wife, Tracey; nieces and nephews, Linsey Harrington, Layne Broussard, Casen Broussard, Reese Broussard, Rorie Craigen, Baylor Begnaud, Paisley Begnaud, Lucas Myers, Paisyn Myers, Adley Myers, and Tucker Wilkinson.
Funeral services will be held in St. John Vianney in Bell City on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. Rev. Paul D’Sa, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Monday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 9 a.m. until leaving for the church at 10:30 a.m. Pallbearers assisting in his service are Bryce Myers, Conner Myers, Spencer Hebert, Shannon Hoffpauir, Sterling Hebert, and Jordan Broussard.
