Iowa – Yvonne Gail Corbello Myers, born on September 8, 1945, daughter of the late Herbert Edward and Beulah Pousson Corbello, passed away in a local hospital on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at the age of 75.
Yvonne was a graduate of Gueydan High School and Denmon School of Beauty. She retired from Wal-Mart. She loved putting puzzles together and family gatherings.
She is preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Bruce Peter Myers; infant sister, Katherine Corbello; sister, Diane Savant; grandson, Johnathon Myers.
Yvonne is survived by her children, Parrish “PJ” Myers; Jeffrey Myers, Sr. (Tammy); Tony Myers (Paige); Brian Myers (Tracy); siblings, Wanda Landry (Doris); Teddy Corbello; grandchildren, Linzy; Bryce; Tayler; Wyatt; Conner; Tabitha; Kimberly; Katelin; Garrett; Jeffrey, Jr.; Hank; Hunter; Ada; Amy; Ryan; Dustin; Samantha; great-grandchildren, Cecilia; Whitley; Evan; Paisley; Layne; Casen; Reese; Lucas; Tucker; Lennox; Paisyn; Tyler; Chloe`; Sadie; Nickolas; Emily; Jodi; Ruby; Charlie; great-great grandchildren, Olivia and, Karsyn.
Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. Rev. John Payne, Celebrant. Burial will follow in LeFranc Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Tuesday in the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
Facial coverings are encouraged, and no food is requested.
