Yvonne Elizabeth Thibodeaux, born in Creole on October 30, 1941, daughter of the late Valsin and Marie (Dupre) Boudreaux, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023, at the age of 81.
Yvonne was a native of Creole and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She worked hard all her life and would help anyone in need. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and cooking for her family. Her loving and generous spirit will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Amos Thibodeaux; son, Freddie Hebert; siblings, Veda Vincent, LeRoy Boudreaux, and Junior Boudreaux.
Surviving her in death are her children, Dallas Thibodeaux, Jerome Hebert, Tony Hebert (Pam), C. J. Thibodeaux (Krystal), and Cindy Hebert (James Monceaux); stepdaughter, Jeanette Thibodeaux; brother, John Boudreaux; 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. Rev. Anthony Fontenot, Celebrant. A burial will follow in Sweetlake Grand Lake Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin in the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. and will resume Saturday from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
