Andrew Rex “Andy” Lore, 77, was called home by his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

A lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Mr. Lore was born to Norman Graham Lore, Sr., and Mary Elizabeth Showell Lore.  He was a 1962 graduate of LaGrange High School and attended McNeese State University.  He worked as a warehouse manager for Solar Supply, West Building Materials, Halliburton, and the MSU Burton Coliseum during his career.  He was an accomplished roller skater and earned recognition in competitive skating.  He also enjoyed classical music and writing and authored two books, My Dad and I and My Mom and I.  Mr. Lore was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Charles. 

Mr. Lore is survived by one brother, Norman G. Lore, Jr. of Lake Charles and his beloved cats, Casey, Melady, and Carman.
