Patricia Ann Little of Hackberry, LA, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Born on October 5, 1938, in Lake Charles, LA, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Alvin and Inez Bonsall who preceded her in death along with her husband, William “Bill”, her son, William “Billy” and her dear brother, Alvin.
She is survived by her loving grandson, Blaine and his wife, Ashlyn, who brought immense joy to her life; her daughter-in-law Frances; along with Jennifer, Charley, Kinley, and Eli. She had many close friends including Willow Eiselstein. Patricia had a special place in her heart for her grand dog, Hank.
Patricia was a lifelong resident of Hackberry. Her life was a testament of love and resilience. She graduated from Hackberry High School, where she was homecoming queen her senior year, setting the foundation for a life filled with kindness and dedication. On November 21, 1959, Patricia married the love of her life, Bill, and together they shared many joyful years together. She made a career at Cameron Telephone Company, where she worked for many years before moving on to Cecil Sanner’s Law Firm after retirement. There, she relished the opportunity to connect with countless people each day, always offering kind words and a warm smile.
Patricia was a devout member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church; she expressed her faith by participation in the church choir. Her faith and community involvement were pillars of her life, providing her with strength and solace.
Patricia’s heart was always open, especially when it came to her family. She treasured every moment spent with her grandson, Blaine, and nothing delighted her more than the shared trips to the Dairy Queen for an ice cream cone with Hank. Known for her vibrant spirit, Patricia enjoyed playing bingo and Pokeno, where she delighted in the camaraderie of good friends and shared laughter.
As we celebrate Patricia’s life, we find comfort knowing that she is reunited with those who have gone before her, resting in eternal peace. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all her shared her journey, offering love and support throughout her life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 1, 2026, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church from 9 AM until the time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 10 AM.
The family would like to express their deepest thanks to those who cared for Patricia and provided comfort in her final days, ensuring she was surrounded by love.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be make in Patricia’s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generosity and dedication in helping others.
